Carol Forsloff–Hawaii Affairs Magazine is part of the media publications of the House of Aloha Publishing Company, based in Oregon. This magazine, however, is based in Hawaii, with its offices in Makaha on the Leeward side of Oahu called the Waianae Coast.
Publisher is Carol Forsloff, a journalist of more than 50 years experience with both print and digital media, 29 years of full-time living in Hawaii and another 11 years of part-time visits. She has been educated for journalism, teaching, counseling and administration, is listed in the International Compendium of Authors and Writers for 2000, and various Marquis Who’s Who listings over the years 2006 to 2010, has several books in publication, is a member of the Society of Professional Journalists, has taught journalism at the university level and has traveled extensively over most of the world.
